I run BETR, a marketing consulting business for restaurants in Hanoi. I need a sharp, reliable right hand: someone who handles the people who reach out to us, keeps our client work sharp in Vietnamese, and moves the day-to-day marketing forward so I can stay focused on the work.
You're my right hand, across the whole business.
Read this part carefully: this is not a campaign-running job. You won't be running our Facebook or Google ads or managing our social accounts. You handle the people who reach out to us, keep our client-facing work correct in Vietnamese, and move the day-to-day marketing tasks forward so they don't pile up on me.
If you're organized, quick to respond, have good judgment, and you write well in both Vietnamese and English, you will do great here.
The role starts focused and grows over time. We start with the basics and build from there.
You're my first point of contact. You reply to people who message us, keep conversations moving, book and confirm my meetings, and join meetings with me to take notes and track the follow-ups. You don't screen anyone. I decide who's worth my time. You keep them handled, booked, and confirmed.
You take real work off my plate: coordinate with vendors, request quotes, check proofs, arrange production and delivery, organize our marketing assets, pull basic numbers, and help put reports together. I give direction, you move the work forward.
You proofread our documents and reports so the Vietnamese is accurate and reads the way a Hanoi restaurant owner would actually say it. Not just grammar. Does it sound natural, would a real owner understand it.
None of this is required on day one. The role expands into these areas over time.
Finding vendors, checking competitors, and gathering what we need before meetings.
Sourcing references and trending sounds, basic edits, keeping our records and tools up to date. This is a bonus, not the job. If you love editing videos but let a client sit unanswered for four hours, this role isn't for you.
Ad-hoc tasks and ongoing projects as they come up.
If every line below sounds like you, I want to hear from you.
Nice to have, not requiredFamiliarity with restaurants or the F&B world · experience with CRMs or simple business tools (we'll teach you ours) · a general interest in marketing and business.
Your CV and four quick fields. The last one is the one I actually read: why you'd be a great fit.
Your details go straight to me and nowhere else.
Your application is in. I read every one myself, and if it looks like a fit I'll reach out to set up an interview.
